CHG Outdoors was preparing to launch a brand-new outdoor furniture collection made up of 10 unique sets, each available in a range of colourways and configurations — from contemporary dining groups to modular sofas and compact loungers. The goal was to produce a full suite of premium visual content to support their launch across e-commerce, social platforms, and marketing collateral.

Deliverables included:

• Wide-angle hero shots for each product

• Close-up detail photography to highlight textures, finishes, and craftsmanship

• Lifestyle imagery to show products in use within real-world garden environments

A high-impact range video designed for multi-channel use (website, YouTube, social)

Until now, CHG Outdoors had relied on CGI renders to visualise their product lines. While technically accurate, CGI lacked the tactile warmth and real-world depth required to build buyer confidence — especially in a sector where customers need to see how materials behave in natural light and space.

They needed a creative solution that would bring the collection to life, reflect the high-end nature of their brand, and emotionally engage their audience.

We designed and executed a multi-day, location-based shoot across landscaped settings, using natural light, texture, and soft styling to give the products depth and realism. Each set was styled with subtle touches — including foliage, accessories, and thoughtful details — to bring authentic charm and character without drawing attention away from the furniture. We also included two dogs in the shoots to capture relaxed, natural lifestyle moments that help bring the settings to life.

The video content was crafted to lead with broad establishing shots before transitioning into cinematic close-ups and gentle motion — dogs interacting with the space, cushions settling, ambient breeze — to convey a sense of calm ownership and aspirational lifestyle.
