Styled Home Design worked with CaptureMotion to document one of their latest full-home interior projects — a high-spec private residence featuring a bespoke kitchen, custom carpentry in the lounge, and two fully renovated bathrooms. The goal was to produce timeless, high-quality imagery that showcased the detail and cohesion of their design work for use across portfolio, website, and social channels.

We were tasked with capturing:

• Wide interior shots of each space

• Architectural details and material textures

Natural-light lifestyle framing to preserve warmth and realism

Like many boutique interior designers, Styled Home Design had relied heavily on smartphone photography and builder-supplied images to showcase their work. While functional, these lacked the polish and composition needed to reflect the sophistication of their designs, and didn’t do justice to the materials, textures, and light play that are critical to their aesthetic.

They needed a photographer who could interpret the space as a designed experience — not just a room — and capture the emotion, style, and care embedded in the project.

Working closely with the designer on shoot day, we followed the natural light through the home, carefully timing each space to catch it at its best. We used a restrained, editorial style to showcase the clean lines, soft tones, and layered finishes.

Each room was approached with a balance of wide establishing angles to show layout and structure, and tight, focused detail shots of key features — including the bespoke carpentry, tilework, hardware choices, and ambient textures that defined the design.

Importantly, we shot everything in a way that preserved a lived-in, inviting feel — real, not staged.
